AQUASPORT PADI 5 STAR IDC CENTER
The
dive centre is located in the harbour town of Marsalforn, and is
within 5-10 minutes walk from the accommodation that we offer and
less than 5 minutes walk from the waterfront. Ideally suited for
quick and easy access to all of the best dive sites, the dive centre
operates all year round, 7 days a week.
DIVER
INSTRCUTION
Gozo
Aquasport offer all levels of diver training from cokplete beginner
course through tot instructor training. Led by Patrick Bugeja, a
Master Instructor with over 30 years commercial and recreational
diving experience in these waters, their aim is to teach diving
using the most up-to-date diver education in an enjoyable, interesting
and easy to understand way.
If
you haven't dived for a while, take advantage of the PADI Scuba
Tune-Up and hone your skills, then pick the package that suits you.
The course lasts one day and involves a classroom session, a training
dive and a fun dive.
They
cater for small group numbers to ensure individual attention and
maximum fun. Quality instruction - that's their speciality.

Choose from
the world famous Blue Hole or the incomparable Inland Sea, fly over
Crocodile Reef, dive at dawn on Reqqa Point and take advantage of
our daily hard boat trips to visit those sites inaccessible from
shore such as San Dimitri and the stunning Gudja and Cathedral caves.
They also cater for disabled divers and have fully trained IAHD
Instructors.
Night dives
are arranged several evenings per week.

those suitably qualified, Nitrox can be used on any
of the above dives at an additional cost of LM2.50,
£4.00, Eur6.50 per cylinder used.
Any dive from a dive pack can be a boat dive or a night
dive for a supplementary charge of Lm8.00 (£12.80,
Eur20.80) and Lm3.00 (£4.80,Euro 7.80) respectively.

SPECIAL TRIPS
On November
12th 1999, the MV Xlendi, an ex Malta-Gozo ferry, was sunk off the
coast of Xatt L'Ahmar. Being a roll-on roll-off ferry with props
and rudders at both ends, it makes a fascinating new wreck dive
for the experienced diver. The site consists of a wall descending
to 40 metres, where the wreck can be found. It has an overall length
of some 80 metres and can be explored fully, though penetration
of the wreck should only be contemplated having undergone specific
training.
At least once
a week, our charter boat will visit 'Rozi' our wreck off the coast
of Malta and/or various sites around the island of Comino. A hot
lunch is served on board while we moor in a sheltered cove and there
is plenty of time for swimming and snorkelling.
